How To Use Givelify to Help the People of Puerto Rico
With three major hurricanes devastating parts of the country in a matter of weeks, it’s easy to become fatigued of all the pleas for help. It’s understandable that Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands might be lost in the shuffle, but Hurricane Maria affected more than three million people in these U.S. territories.
According to an NBC News story, one resident said, “You feel like you’re forgotten. I’m in an area that’s flooded and there’s basically dead animals — cats, dogs, rats just floating around — the smell is crazy and I don’t see anyone here anywhere as of today or yesterday.”
Givelify organizations recently rallied to raise relief funds and offer assistance to victims of Hurricane Harvey and Hurricane Irma. Now it’s time to help our fellow citizens in the Caribbean…
