Givelify Welcomes Amanda Stevens
Amanda started her career in quality assurance. She later branched into product management, which she found an instant passion for. Amanda loves understanding the user experience and digging into the analytics of things to understand what is delighting customers. Amanda is excited to work at Givelify with the message of giving back to the world, which is a cause she believes deeply in. Personally, Amanda is married with four fur kiddos. She and her husband enjoy seeing movies, live theatre and musicals, traveling, and sometimes lazing about the house playing video games. Trying new and unusual foods is always on Amanda’s list of a good time.

What causes do you care about? What non-profit organization do you actively support?
The ASPCA and WWF for my love of animals, the American Cancer Society for friends who have been impacted, and the Wounded Warrior Project for veterans due to my family’s long history of military service.
What music is on your favorites playlist?
Right now a big mix: Iron & Wine, Hamilton soundtrack on repeat, Anderson East, Leon Bridges, or just the Mellow or Pure Focus playlist from Apple Music.
Who would you most like to meet and why?
Oddly, I would love to spend some time with JFK. I have been interested in his family history for a long time, so feel like a dinner with him and Jackie during the 1960s Era America would be so fascinating!
What TV show do you never miss?
I miss a lot of TV shows due to being distracted by projects… so I do better when I can binge things in one setting! I recently finished the most reason season of Stranger Things (finally) and also really loved Crazy Ex-Girlfriend.
Best advice anyone has given you?
Life is 10% what happens to you and 90% how you react.
What would be your go-to karaoke song?
Don’t Stop Believing by Journey.
If you could have a superpower, what would it be?
Teleportation, so I could visit anywhere at any time instantly!
Do you have any kids (furry or human)?
I have, count ’em, FOUR fur babies. Two corgis, named Henry and Miles, and two kitties, Mr. Darcy and Brooklyn.
What is your favorite treat?
I love, love, love ice cream but am lactose intolerant, so it’s a very rare treat for me.
